Manufacturer warranty

Every Segway Navimow purchased from Auto-Mow is supplied with the official Segway manufacturer warranty. The warranty is provided by Segway and claims are handled directly with them.

1. Warranty periods

  • Main unit (mower body, motors, electronics): 2 years from the date of delivery.
  • Battery: 1 year from the date of delivery.
  • Charging dock & power supply: 2 years from the date of delivery.
  • Accessories (blades, pegs, antenna mount, garage shelter): 6 months from the date of delivery against manufacturing defects.

2. What's covered

The manufacturer warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal domestic use, including:

  • Motor or drive failure not caused by impact or misuse.
  • Electronic, GPS or sensor faults.
  • Premature battery degradation (loss of significant capacity within the warranty period).
  • Charging dock electrical failure.
  • Manufacturing defects in the chassis or housing.

3. What's not covered

  • Normal wear & tear (blades, wheels, brushes).
  • Accidental damage, drops, impact, water ingress beyond the product's rated IP level, or damage from running over solid objects.
  • Damage caused by unauthorised repair, modification or use of non-Segway parts.
  • Theft, loss, vandalism or animal damage.
  • Cosmetic wear (scratches, scuffs, UV fading).
  • Use outside the UK or in a commercial / rental context.

4. Your statutory rights

This manufacturer warranty is in addition to — and does not affect — your legal rights under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015. If your product is faulty, not as described or not of satisfactory quality, you may also have separate rights against us as the retailer.

5. How to make a warranty claim

  1. Contact Segway directly using the warranty and support details included with your product.
  2. Have your proof of purchase ready — your order confirmation email from Auto-Mow acts as proof of purchase and shows the start date of the warranty period.
  3. Segway will assess the claim and, where accepted, arrange repair or replacement directly with you.

6. Turnaround

Repair or replacement turnaround times are set by Segway and may vary depending on the fault and parts availability. Contact Segway support for current lead times.

7. Proof of purchase

Please keep your order confirmation email — it acts as your proof of purchase and start date for the warranty period.
