1. What we collect

• Order details: name, billing & delivery address, email, phone number, items ordered.
• Payment data: processed directly by our payment provider — we do not store full card details.
• Account & correspondence data: any emails or messages you send us.
• Usage data: IP address, device, pages viewed, via cookies and analytics — see our Cookie Policy.

2. How we use it

• To fulfil and deliver your order (contract).
• To arrange installation services (contract).
• To comply with tax, accounting and consumer law (legal obligation).
• To improve our site and, where you've opted in, send marketing emails (legitimate interest / consent).

3. Who we share it with

We share data only with providers who help us run the business: our e-commerce platform, payment processor, delivery couriers, and our installation engineers. We do not sell your data.

4. International transfers

Some providers process data outside the UK/EEA. Where they do, we rely on UK-approved transfer mechanisms such as the International Data Transfer Agreement or adequacy decisions.

5. How long we keep it

Order and accounting records are kept for 7 years (HMRC requirement). Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe. Emails are kept for as long as needed to respond, plus a reasonable retention window.

6. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, and to data portability. To exercise these rights, email info@automow.uk.

You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you believe we have mishandled your data.

7. Security

The site uses HTTPS throughout. Payment data is handled by PCI-DSS compliant processors. We restrict internal access to personal data on a need-to-know basis.
